Hybrid Materials
The main focus of this program is interdisciplinary research, this is why we welcome students with different backgrounds (physicists, chemists, materials scientists, biologists) wishing to carry out research at the intersection of disciplines. Within the framework of this program, you will study the basics of numerical modeling, materials science, experimental nanophotonics, as well as special branches of organic chemistry and cell biology. All students will work on applied projects with supervisors that have a large experience of working in interdisciplinary teams. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), targeted drug delivery, biosensors are just a few of the areas where the graduates of this program are in high demand.
