On 16-19 September 2013 the Seventh International Congress on Advanced Electromagnetic Materials in Microwaves and Optics - Metamaterials '2013 was held in Bordeaux (France).\ Bordeaux attracted a lot of participants with authors coming from many countries. Pavel Belov gave the invited oral talk on "Superdirective Magnetic Nanoantennas with Effect of Light Steering: Theory and Experiment". Oral talks also were given by Anastasia Krylova ("Tailoring Lattice Parameters For Broadband Artificial Diamagnetism"), Ilya Yagypov ("Tailoring Lattice Parameters For Broadband Artificial Diamagnetism"), Pavel Voroshilov ("Enhanced Light Trapping with Optical Nanoantennas for Thin-Film Solar Cells") and Alexey Slobozhanyuk ("Wire Metamaterial: Enhancement of Evanescent Waves and Application for Improvement of Magnetic Resonance Imaging"). Alena Chshelokova and Pavel Buslaev presented posters. The next congress will take place in Denmark, during the last week of August 2014.
