‘Nonlinear magneto-toroidal nonreciprocity’

Abstract: I will discuss a mechanism of reciprocity breaking in optics, driven by the nonlinear interference of applied magnetic field and magneto-toroidal moment. The results are based on analysis of recent second harmonic generation experiments.
