The Faculty of Physics of ITMO University announces the talented young researchers’ recruitment to work within the framework of a new mega-grant on the topic "Nanolasers and Microlasers Based on New Nanomaterials and Modern Optical Architectures" under the joint leadership of Professor Volkan Demir and Professor Andrey Bogdanov.
Responsibilities
The project is 5 years long (until 2025) and is aimed at solving modern challenges in the field of laser physics, nanophotonics and materials sciences. An international research team plans to develop a new class of nanomaterials and resonant systems for high-performance nano- and microlasers.
Active interaction with the international project team based on three sites is expected: ITMO University (main), Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), Bilkent University (Ankara, Turkey). The research results are planned to be published in leading international scientific journals.
