Quantum seminar | 25 October 2023
2530+Online
In our seminar, we will cover DNA-based technologies and explore their applications in biotechnology and biomedicine, including the drugs derived from these technologies and their role in diagnostics. Our lab, Nucleic Acids Nanotechnologies, is at the forefront of using these technologies to create effective and selective constructs for diagnostics and therapeutics. We will showcase our innovative DNA machines, the first of their kind. Our research focuses on advanced solutions for biomedical applications by harnessing the power of nucleic acids such as DNA and RNA. You will learn how to transform single-stranded DNA molecules into cancer-targeting DNA nanorobots and explore the use of catalytic DNA for logic-gate-based machines.
