Polyatomic molecules as a platform for Dark matter searches
Abstract

The evidence of Dark Matter was confirmed by gravitational lensing methodology in the Bullet cluster, by observing the rotation curves of galaxies. Such cosmological considerations as nucleosynthesis and the inhomogeneities of the temperature in the cosmic microwave background radiation are also consistent with the fact that a significant part of the Universe mass is not represented by known particles. Axions are good pseudo-scalar candidates on the dark matter particles, which can also solve the strong CP-problem. The talk will be devoted to the possibility of studying the interaction of axionic Dark Matter halo directly with the electronic shell of polyatomic molecules. The polyatomic molecules are a promising platform for search of P, T-violating effects. For instance, the impact of axion-mediated electron-electron and electron-nucleon interactions on their spectrum was previously considered. Our methodology requires consideration of the only one type of interaction, P, T-odd.
