Abstract
Wireless MRI coil is an interesting area today, where power issues play a vital role. This work suggests harvesting design based on a saddle coil. It allows receiving energy from both directions using circular polarization. The influence of orientation, pulse sequences, and other factors on the harvesting efficiency is depicted. A comparative analysis of various passive rectifier/multiplier circuits and performance of commercially available Schottky diodes in rectifiers are shown. Passive, active, and auto bias detuning for wireless coil considered.
