			Abstract
At the seminar, we will discuss work devoted to the development of a new method for improving the performance of compact disk microstrip antennas. During the research, an approach was proposed that uses an internal system of cylindrical impedance surfaces. This method is based on analytical modeling of the antenna and the use of nonlinear optimization algorithms to calculate the parameters of impedance surfaces. The work examines the possibilities of expanding the matching frequency band and miniaturizing the antenna.
