Abstract. I will present results on the study of optical and nonlinear-optical properties of photonic crystal/metal structures under conditions of the Tamm plasmon excitation. I will tell about (1) experimental determination of the TPP lifetime, (2) impact of the TPP excitation on the femtosecond response of PC/metal structures, (3) enhancement of the second and third optical harmonics generation in the presence of TPP, and (4) experimental observation of the TPP-surface plasmon hybrid state and its properties.
