Article of our researchers in the journal Nature Communications!

An article of our researchers was published in the journal Nature Communications, where the modification of material properties due to the strong binding of light to matter was experimentally studied and an effective inversion of exciton bands in a WSe2 monolayer with a spin-forbidden dark ground state was demonstrated. In experiments, using strong coupling between a cavity photon and a high-energy bright spin-allowed exciton, two bright polariton modes were created in the optical band gap with the lower mode below the dark state of WSe2.

Our new paper in the journal Physical Review B!

Our new paper in the journal Physical Review B is devoted to the development of an efficient method for first-principles calculations of an electronic system interacting with photons in a lossy resonator. A well-chosen minimal model allowed us to observe the dynamics of the electron density due to purely quantum mechanical effects.
