Congratulations to our students for defending MSc theses!
Congratulations to the students from our group Tatiana Gorelkina and Tatiana Oskolkova for successfully defending their master's theses. We wish them luck in their future research work!
In LMC lab we conduct theoretical and experimental research of light-matter coupling in low-dimensional quantum materials with a particular focus on the strong coupling regime and its manifestations in optical and transport properties. The theoretical research spans from the development of the novel ab-initio techniques for qiantitative modelling of the cavity quantum electrodynamics with low-dimensional materials to the symmetry analysis of the new emergent phases in quantum materials. Experiments involve both measurements of ultrafast nonlinearities using pump-probe techniques and quantum measurements of the photon correlations induced by light-matter interactions.
