Engineer of antenna feeder systems

The Faculty of Physics is a large international team of talented researchers, teachers, engineers, administrative employees, and students. Responsibilities

  • Tests and measurements of antenna characteristics. Work with test bench equipment, documenting the performed tests. Processing and analysis of results;
  • Numerical calculations (CST Studio Suite, Ansys HFSS);
  • Design of printed circuit board (PCB) topology (Altium Designer, KiCad EDA). Ordering PCBs.
  • Work with measurement equipment: R&S, Agilent, Planar, Ceyear, Anritsu;
  • Interaction with the design engineering department;
  • Soldering of SMD components, assembling and tuning antennas.

Requirements

  • A technical/engineering degree;
  • Work experience with measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, signal generators, signal amplifiers);
  • Experience in antenna measurements in the microwave range;
  • Work with numerical modeling software packages (Ansys HFSS, CST Studio Suite). AutoCad, MatLab skills;
  • Strong motivation, desire to learn new things.
