50 years of quantum chromodynamics as an accepted theory of strong interactions: a brief history
Every week we will send you an e-mail with a digest of scientific events. Subscribe and wait for an e-mail!
Abstract
Half a century ago, quantum chromodynamics (QCD) evolved from a model proposed in 1973 into an absolutely dominant theory of strong interactions. The seminar will discuss the history of the origin of QCD and its subsequent acceptance as the fundamental theory of strong interactions.
