P,T-odd Faraday effect as a tool for the search of electric dipole moment of electron

Abstract
The observation of the P, T-odd (P is space parity, T is time reflection) Faraday effect (the optical rotation in an external electric field, PTFE) in intracavity absorption spectroscopy (ICAS) was recently suggested as a possible experimental tool for the search of electric dipole moment of an electron (eEDM). In the present communication, the additional source of signal enhancement (connected with atomic-level-mixing contribution), systematics (uncontrolled ellipticity of entering light and stray magnetic field), and statistics of such a suggested experiment are discussed.
