Microwave and Millimeter-Wave Radiometers for Atmospheric and Environmental Sensing
Abstract

This seminar introduces microwave and millimeter-wave radiometers for weather forecasting. It begins with the fundamental concepts and operating principles of microwave radiometry, followed by an overview of radiometer circuits, receiver architectures, and key hardware components. Experimental methods for measuring and evaluating radiometer performance are then presented. The seminar concludes with a brief discussion of integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) systems and their potential applications.
