The Department of Physics and Engineering of the ITMO University is a creative synergy of honorary professors, young ambitious scientists and students. Bachelors begin to participate in scientific work during the last undergraduate courses and magister students are full-fledged members of the scientific center. Scientific research at the Department

We are engaged in theoretical and experimental researches in areas such as nanophotonics, metamaterials, topological photonics, radio physics, quantum optics, plasmonics, etc. The works are published in world peer-reviewed scientific journals.
