Abstract
The developers of MRI coils are doing a great job of trying to minimize human exposure to RF heating effects. But here I would like to discuss a completely opposite problem: how to concentrate RF energy within tissues for therapeutic purposes. I will talk about field optimization algorithms and methods for measuring and mapping the electric field in the bench experiments.
