Research group of Alena Shchelokova

Research areas

  • Development of technology for wireless power transfer in air
  • Exploring novel physical phenomena and designing innovative devices to enhance the performance of magnetic resonance imaging systems

Projects 2025

  • Continue the development of ubiquitous wireless power transfer technology, which has the potential to revolutionize the way we power our devices
  • Developing devices to improve the MRI of infants
  • Continue to develop RF devices to improve the efficiency of targeted breast and knee MRIs
  • Developing devices for MRI of small animals, particularly mice, using topological photonics approaches
  • Science for Future Generations: We believe that curiosity for science is born in childhood, and therefore we actively involve school students in real research projects. Members of our group conduct workshops, lab tours, and demonstrations at science festivals and exhibitions, helping future researchers take their first steps into the world of modern physics and engineering.
