Characterization and application of the resonant properties of out-diffused silver nanoislands
In this talk I will present the results of the experiments on out-diffused silver nanoisland films. Using the field imprinting technique we were able to obtain separated single nanoislands, giving the opportunity to investigate their resonant properties, using dark-field spectroscopy.
Characterization of silver nanoisland films using SERS, AFM and dark-field microscopy
In this talk I will present the results of several experiments on self-assembled silver nanoisland films. By measuring surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) spectra of rhodamin 6G and bacteriorhodopsin we have shown that these films can serve as SERS substrates.
