'Single-photon emitters forquantum technologies'
Abstract: Last decade quantum technologiesbecame a real mainstream in the world. It consists of three directions: quantumcryptography, quantum computing and quantum metrology. These technologies arebased on a large set of scientific fields: computer science, atomic physics, superconductive physics, solid state physics, quantum optics, nonlinear optics, nano photonics and so on. Particularly, a single-photon emitter development isan important problem for all directions of quantum technologies. In this reportI’ll present a short review of current state of quantum technologies (mainly, quantum cryptography and quantum computing), and I’ll describe a role ofsingle-photon sources in them. Particularly, I’ll list their properties, relevant for different technologies.
