Research Projects Manager

The Faculty of Physics of ITMO University is looking for an expert in management of research projects. With your support, the researchers of the Faculty can get one step closer to great scientific discoveries. The Faculty of Physics is a large team of researchers, lecturers, students and experts in various other areas. We are developing rapidly, and we launch projects in the areas of education and science every day.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • optimization of the processes related to implementation of research projects;
  • interaction with departments and offices of the University and scientific foundations;
  • business correspondence, including in English;
  • supervising the professional group of the Faculty that works on grant support;
  • preparing report presentations on the budget of the Faculty;
  • tracking the task deadlines;
  • monitoring and preparing announcements of new grants/scholarships/competitions for internal information sources of the Faculty (newspaper, website, telegram channel);
  • finalizing the agreements between foundations and the University;
  • preparing competition and reporting documentation, keeping records of this documentation in the internal database.


  • ability to find common language with the best physicists in the world;
  • experience in situations that require multitasking, tough deadlines;
  • experience with scientific and technical documentation, agreements and contracts;
  • being proactive, creative, committed, attentive, diligent and stress-resistant;
  • education in Physics and Mathematics or Engineering will be an advantage;
  • competent oral and written Russian, and knowledge of English: Pre-Intermediate or a higher level;
